Honeymoon in Krabi

Krabi is the land of solitary limestone peaks, both on land and sea.

If you are planning for your first honeymoon or just want to take a romantic break from your hassle basel daily life,you have absolutely chosen the right place.Krabi has all the right ingredients for romance: balmy tropical weather; breath-taking scenery; secluded beaches; and luxurious hotels and spas.

We started our journey in Krabi from Klong Muang Beach.Which is 15 minutes drive north of the main beach centre at Ao Nang.It is a long, not so developed beach and thats why you will get fine golden sand over there.Our hotel was situated on the beach itself.It was a five star hotel and we have taken a sea view room,and we loved it !

 

 

There were multiple other hotels too(4-5 stars) having private beach property like Nakamanda Resort & Spa,Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort etc.We have initially booked Sofitel but just before some days of our travel they have informed that some of their restaurants and bar will be closed upto December(we went there last week of Nov).So we cancelled.We were doubtful about the decision after all Sofitel is the bigger brand but we proved wrong when we reached finally..The view was simply awesome.Not only room view but they have a open beach front dining with live performance in the evening .Which was wonderful.The food quality was good(price moderate, not too high) and it was well served.In our package breakfast was included which was european standard breakfast.

 

They have different packages for rooms.We have taken sea view but if you want more budget you can book garden view or cottage garden rooms(Its very noisy as very close to the main road).If you want more luxurious you can go for grand sea view suite.

In the evening we went to Ao Nang beach which is most happening beach in Krabi(a little congested too so please take care of your valuable belongings).For going there we taken the taxi from hotel(600THB).But later found that in beach road in Ao Nang the car hiring is much cheaper.

with a well-established village with shops and simple restaurants.
Krabi is the beautiful beach province of Thailand where magnificent limestone rocks jut up from the turquoise blue sea floor. Discovering the wonders of Andaman sea on a long tail boat is a much better experience maybe compared to naive romantic gondola rides of venice. It is the place where multiple Bollywood movies (Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai…, Baar Baar Dekho etc. ) and Hollywood movies (Most famous being The Beach) have been shot. A definite dream destination for any honeymooner.

Honeymoon in Maldives

Maldives is the picturesque dream honeymoon spot that one should visit at least once in their life time. We visited Maldives and were mesmerized.

We started off from Indian city of Bangalore and flew straight 1 and half hour to reach Hulhumale – the manmade island on which the airport has been built in Maldives. And the magic starts from there.

Imagine you are flying on some flight among the clouds. Suddenly you see the clouds having some waves and you realize you are flying not among clouds but between clouds and sea. The ocean and the clouds will mix up in such wonderful way across the horizon that it can not be described in words. Your flight will come down from clouds and will fly like a glider above the ocean floor. And from windows of your plane, you will see some life playing on the ocean floor. You will wonder which of the waves are just wind made and which are made for dolphins splashing it out on the dance floor.
